In this 75 minute (1.25 hour) class, I’ll show you how to defeat soggy bottoms on your pies once and for all!! I’ll give you all my tips, tricks, and guide you through the techniques of par-baking (partially baking) and blind baking (fully baking) a pie crust. I’ll guide you through both techniques step by step, help troubleshoot common crustbaking problems, and answer all your questions along the way!

The class includes the recipe for Extra Flaky All Buttah Pie Dough, along with a prep list, and equipment list so you can bake along with me. All purchases will include a recording of the class, which is sent via email after the live class ends. For more info on classes, see FAQ below!

  • After you purchase a class, you’ll be contacted by email with the all the information you’ll need, and the link to your virtual class. After the class, you’ll be emailed a recording of the class as well.

  • You’ll receive a document via email that contains the recipe, grocery list, equipment list, and any other information you’ll need prior to your class.

  • You’re welcome to, or you can just watch and enjoy! A recording of the class will be emailed to you, so you can always watch it again with the freedom to pause at your lesiure!

  • No, but you’re welcome to! If you’re baking along with me, it can be helpful (and fun) to see your bakes to help answer questions!

  • Yes! When you check out, you’ll be asked to specify if the class is a gift, and you can provide the recipient’s email address so that the class information can be sent to them.

  • Absolutely! You can ask questions via the chat - during the class, a moderator will help me make sure I get you all the answers you’re looking for!

  • Purchases of classes are non-refundable, but you will receive the recording of the class even if you’re unable to attend. Classes can also be transferred to another recipient!
